spent 1/2 hour trying to get it to work. deleting and reloading doesnt work.

This is a huge joke! It never let me download a single issue! Wast of time and money! Gave it 1 star because it wont let me give it no stars

Update. Okay good things first, this is the first time that a new issue has arrived and I didnt have to update the app (hold your applause cause I havent attempted to download the next issue yet). Well since I brought up issues I should talk about that next. Before I signed up for a subscription I had been purchasing individual issues, since they were coming out every month I thought it would be cheaper to buy an annual subscription. Well since starting my subscription at the beginning of Oct 13 they have skipped the October, January, February issues! Im starting to believe this magazine has gone from a 12 issue subscription to a 6 issue subscription without any reduction in price or apology from the publisher. My recommendation is for anyone thinking about buying a subscription to just keep your money in your pocket, it wont be worth it. Besides American Survival Guide Magazine is more on top of their schedule even though it is a 6-issue per year magazine. Old review - Once again another update and another fiasco! The app is not recognizing my current subscription and all the previous single issues I purchased. Why does this happen each and every time? Your app could single handedly keep people wanting to stick with printed magazine format. And Im not even gonna mention how long it takes for you to make your new monthly subscription available, it shouldnt take a month after the print issue is out for you to finally release it. After my subscription ends you will never see me doing anything with digital subscriptions from this company

Love this mag. Their issue on the Amish was spot on, and gave a lot of fun and interesting info.

The survivalist magazine is first rate and gives great information. I cant say enough about how how terrible the app is. The only way you can access the issues is if you have an Internet connection. If Im in a survival situation and I wasnt to use these magazines as a reference Im pretty well stuck. Even downloaded issues wont show in the app. I dont like to give negative reviews but for anyone who thinks in terms of survival the post emergency lack of Internet would be a deal breaker for any reader.

The magazine is great the app if terrible. New issues dont download and the developers never respond to service requests. The writers and website are a separate group and will not offer any assistance. I wont be buying any additional products from either until someone decides customer service is a necessary step to selling.
